Haelo Accepted into AARP AgeTech Collaborative Accelerator
Haelo has been accepted into the AgeTech Collaborative™ from AARP Accelerator Program, joining a new cohort of startups advancing longevity technology.
Alexander RobertThe latest news, health tips, and engineering deep dives from the Haelo Health team.

Haelo's first care home pilot has been running for a month. Sixteen residents at Burleigh House in Hertfordshire are wearing Haelo continuously, with their data flowing to the care team through our dashboard. Here's what we've learned.

No smart ring on the market can detect a fall. We explain the engineering challenge, how Haelo is building one that can, and how a ring compares to watches and pendants.

Is your parent refusing to wear their medical alert device? We analyzed why traditional devices fail seniors and explore the rise of 'invisible' protection via smart rings.

To build true life protection into a wearable, you have to make it the sole mission. Every sensor, every milliamp, every design decision must serve one purpose: helping save a life.

We're in!
Building a startup isn't just about execution - it's about pressure-testing your thinking, sharpening the story, and learning from people who've been there before.
That's why Haelo is proud to have been selected to join Grishin Robotics Accelerator Cohort 2. Artur and Geoff kicked things off on Friday with their opening pitch, joining 21 other ambitious teams.
A huge thank you to Grishin Robotics and Dmitry Grishin for this incredible opportunity.

Two months ago, two members of the team got some fresh air in support of St Thomas's & Guy's Hospital, which has treated two generations of Alex's family.
It was an incredible experience to give back to a hospital that has done so much for the people we care about. The views of London from the top weren't bad either!
Supporting the NHS and healthcare causes is close to our hearts at Haelo - it's part of why we're building technology to help protect vulnerable people.

We always knew we wanted Haelo to feel elegant and timeless.
Bringing that to life through a complete ring redesign was made possible through our collaboration with the brilliant team at Aileron Design, whose depth of knowledge and craftsmanship in industrial design helped us create something we're truly proud of.
The result is a ring that doesn't just protect - it makes a statement. Clean lines, premium materials, and a design that looks as good as it works.
We can't wait to share more details soon.
We're thrilled to share we've been accepted into The Residency's Delta - a selective founder fellowship designed to support promising startups creating positive change to grow faster and smarter.
Being part of this community means access to incredible mentors, resources, and a network of founders who share our mission of building technology that makes a real difference in people's lives.
This is another step forward in our journey to bring Haelo to the families who need it most.
Chapter II: Accepted.
Geoffrey Taunton-CollinsExciting news!
Very proud to announce that Haelo has made it into Onstage's Top 100 - placing us in the top 5% of startups for VC investor interest in the UK!
This recognition is a testament to the work our team has put in and the growing momentum behind our mission to protect vulnerable people through wearable technology.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey. We're just getting started.

Technology should protect those who raised us, not just count their steps.
That's why we created Haelo...
A discreet smart ring that monitors vital signs, detects falls and cardiac events, and alerts loved ones when something's wrong.
No expensive subscriptions. No unnecessary features. No daily charging.
Just quiet, continuous protection for the people who need it most.
We built Haelo because too many people still live alone, unsupported.
Because safety tech shouldn't have to look like a panic button.
And because peace of mind shouldn't be just out of reach.
We're launching very soon, and we're just getting started.
Have you ever worried about someone being alone?
