5am, September 18th 2022. The call no one ever wants to get.
He'd woken in the night and gone for a shower — but the device that could have helped him, his power-hungry watch, was sitting on the bedside table, charging.
As I drove to him, we learned he'd likely suffered a heart attack. Alone.
Even with his partner sleeping in the next room, no one knew anything was wrong until it was far too late.
I couldn't believe that our bedrock — still full of energy, still so alive — had disappeared in silence simply because nothing had alerted us.

Several of us — including our co-founder Artur — have also lost loved ones to emergencies that could have been caught sooner. That shared experience guides our mission: making care affordable and getting help to someone when it truly matters.
